English River Outfitters is part of the healing process for veterans. Their priority is to help foster a healthy readjustment back to civilian life through a positive outdoor experience.
Veterans and families served at English River Outfitters experience a variety of therapeutic, group-based activities designed to re-establish confidence, hope, and health.

BJL Fundraising is a non profit organization which exhibits great respect, pride, and integrity for our military veterans and our community. We provide assistance to local veterans and families with children who are otherwise without resources.

Iowa Association of County Commissioners and Veteran Service Officers
When you come into your County Veterans Services Office you will be referred to a Veteran Service Officer for assistance. The County Veterans Service Officer has a compassionate understanding of the problems, which confront veterans, widows, widowers, and children. The County Veterans Service Officer will apply specialized knowledge in the best way suited to the needs of every individual veteran or other beneficiary who comes to the office for assistance. If you want assistance or need help in obtaining benefits, contact your local County Veteran Service Office!​

Beam It Up Laser Works is a Veteran owned and operated business. Their founder served for 6 years in the United States Air Force as a member of Security Forces at F.E. Warren AFB, Cheyenne Wyoming. What began as a hobby morphed into a dream of running a business that would allow them to do a thing they love while providing people with valuable goods and services.

Country Action Blades
Country Action Blades is a Veteran owned business specializing in handmade blades and knives. After returning from Afghanistan, Todd needed a positive outlet. Knife making became his passion and has made many knives for the community.

Todd will allow any veteran to use his workshop to try out the hobby if they have the materials. Todd knows how important it is for veterans to have a positive outlet in their life, especially after coming home from deployment.
